Remember the HS Kicker Austin Rehkow that hit the 67 Yard Field Goal this past weekend. Well, he is One On One Kicking trained! Long Time One On One Kicking Trainee and D1 All American Taylor Rowan (W. Illinois Univ.) currently trains him. Here is what Taylor's father messaged to Coach McCabe about both Austin and Taylor....
"Greetings Trust things are going well for you. Fun keeping up with you on Facebook. Not sure if you watched the news about the HS kicker that kicked the 67 yard FG in Spokane this past week. He made the top 10 list on Sports Center and ABC news. Turns out, Austin is one of Taylor's students. When Taylor moved to Spokane in 2010 Austin was a sophmore and had been working with another coach and was very frustrated since he was trying to change him over to another style. Taylor worked with him, taking him back to zero and working him back up. Austin has kicked 4 or 5 50 plus yard FGs so far this school year. On Thursday Austin and another Kicker that Taylor is training will be squaring off for the city championship. Your influence continues far beyond what you may even know. Keep up the good work! "
